I enjoy many sports, especially tennis, volleyball, and ping-pong (table tennis to the more proper types). There is also some pretty good skiing near Lake Tahoe, although I don't get out there very often since I don't own a car.
My favorite recreational activity may be reading, so if you are looking for a good book to read (especially non-fiction) then please visit my books page. I am most interested in science, history, economics, and politics, although I often read books outside of those genres.
On the weekends (especially during the summer) I generally reserve one of the two days to go hiking. I enjoy getting out of the city and spending some time walking up mountains or along the seashore. Hiking also provides me with some good photo opportunities, so hopefully I will be able to learn how to use my new SLR camera (a Canon Rebel 2000).
